What can be expected?

  • The students receive education with wide grounds and specialization in higher forms.
  • Theoretical and practical training is focused on the work involving design, installation, maintenance, commissioning, adjustment, setting, testing, service and repairs of electronic systems of automatic, measuring and control equipment.
  • The school leavers are skilled in the design of automation equipment – regulation and control system circuits, PLC connection and programming using PC, measurement and diagnostics by conventional and special devices and using computer equipment and can read the technical documentation.
  • The school leavers can use computer equipment, perform diagnostics and minor repairs of personal computers and their peripherals including monitors, are skilled in operating systems and software, measurement and diagnostics by conventional and special devices and using computer equipment.
  • The education emphasizes the learning of all new trends representing essential elements of the technical development of electronics and electronic systems.
  • The four years’ study is aimed to produce students flexibly responding to the requirements of practice and labour market who are skilled in electronic system installation, maintenance, repair and inspection within their specific field of study.

Opportunities for the school leaver

  • The school leaver has general and vocational secondary education. He or she is prepared for the work as an electrical fitter, electrical engineer, electrician, electrical designer, engineering inspector, power engineer, electrical dispatcher, electrical equipment testing and service engineer, computer/consumer electronics and electrical/elec­tronic appliance serviceman, control system programmer, electronic equipment technician or operating engineer / technical trainer.
  • After gaining the required experience and passing the prescribed exams he or she can operate as a sole trader.
  • Depending on the study results achieved he or she can continue studies at a college (school of higher education) or university specializing in electrical engineering.
