What can be expected?

• The school leaver prepares and arranges the goods to be sold, provides advisory services and presents the product range to be sold.
• He or she prepares sales documentation and processes customer claims.
• He or she makes various types of gift packs and carries out promotional and display advertising tasks related to the sales.
• He or she takes over and accepts the goods inspecting the quality and knows the stock taking principles.
• He or she uses the computer-aided cash register systems.
• He or she communicates with the customers in foreign language.

Opportunities for the school leaver

• The student successfully passing the final examination can work at large, medium-sized as well as small trading companies as a shop assistant.
• Apart from that, he or she can perform commercial and operational tasks at trade fairs and display markets.
• After getting the required experience he or she can operate as a sole trader.
• Depending on the study results achieved he or she can continue studies in follow-up courses in order to pass the “maturita” examination (similar to GCE examination).
