What can be expected?

The school leaver:

  • keeps administrative records regarding the company trading activities and accounting and tax records using information technologies;
  • executes local and international business transactions, manages the supplier and customer networks;
  • can handle the goods, machines and shop equipment, operate the cash register, apply various forms of sale and service;
  • manages the goods purchase and sale processes, provides information on products and goods, communicates with the customers, prepares documents for claim procedure and processes customer claims;
  • conducts market research, applies the market research results, proposes and implements sales advertising campaigns;
  • identifies, enters into and develops contacts to further business activities, observes business ethics and social behaviour and demeanour principles.

Opportunities for the school leaver

  • The school leaver has general and vocational secondary education. He or she is equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for the performance of the chosen profession.
  • He or she can work in goods purchase and sales, marketing or logistics department, at the position of a sales clerk, dealer, real estate agent, purchasing agent, commodity expert, marketing clerk or customer claim specialist.
  • Depending on the study results achieved he or she can continue studies at a college (school of higher education) or university specializing in trade and services.
