What can be expected?

The school leaver is educated so that he or she can:

  • understand the global transport system and know the technical terminology;
  • prepare technical documentation using application programs and use the documentation to manage transport;
  • classify the transported goods and determine adequate transportation conditions within the logistic services;
  • be skilled in warehousing activities and application of stock handling equipment;
  • carry out business activities, have accounting skills and understand the legal regulations governing business activities;
  • have adequate knowledge and habits in the domain of occupational health and safety, work hygiene and environmental protection.

Opportunities for the school leaver

  • The school leavers are prepared to work as technical and administrative clerks charged with operational, organizational, commercial and financial tasks for specific transport types and in professions associated with the transport system in general as well as in related branches.
  • They can work as road transport technicians, road transport operation managers, managing clerks, transport logisticians or forwarders.
  • The education includes training for tests for group B driving licence.
  • Depending on the study results achieved they can continue studies at a college (school of higher education) or university specializing in, for example, transport or mechanical engineering.
